Licking County Tea Party Goals

We are, a non-partisan grassroots organization whose sole purpose is to inform and empower American citizens; to encourage them by teaching and learning alongside them about our nation and the republic for which we stand. By communicating with our citizenry and those in our local, state and federal governments we can, individually and collectively, stake our rightful claim to the ownership of These United States of America as guaranteed by our own Ohio and US Constitutions.

We readily acknowledge God as Sovereign Creator and to Him we turn for help as we grow and mature. All of our small victories will, in time, culminate in the greatest victory: Preserving the freedoms we hold so dear so that we can pass them on, unencumbered, to our children and grandchildren.

One of our many projects in 2010 is to vote out those who have betrayed our country and its citizens. We do not wish to "throw the baby out with the bath water" and will not take aim on those elected officials who have proven they "get it" on constitutional issues and fiscal responsibility.

This is a nonpartisan/bipartisan project to restore our nation's freedom, as well as making it secure against those who wish to destroy the US Constitution, whether foreign or domestic. Our highest goal is to provide data that will enable voters to make informed decisions at the ballot box.

We do not wish to tell voters what to do. Haven't we all had enough of that??
